The Method

Interactive. Collaborative. Empowering.

Student athletes from all sports and levels from across the UK are invited to take part in this 2-part course facilitated by Dr Adams. The course covers key aspects of prevention, identification and management, it empowers participants to be a part of improving the concussion culture within their teams and University, and helps to ensure they know who and where to turn to if and when a concussion happens.

The Outcome

Knowledge, attitudes and practice will be improved.

Research evaluation carried out as part of this project will enable us to measure the impact of the course, including barriers and facilitators to change and the ways in which the course can be improved for the future.

This project received funding from the Wellcome Trust.
